Kartini Day is more than just a date on the calendar; it’s a moment to reflect on the courage and vision of Raden Ajeng Kartini, who believed that education should be accessible to everyone, especially women.
This year, our school celebrated Kartini Day with a series of meaningful and joyful activities that brought the entire community together.
One of the highlights of the day was the traditional fashion show, where students confidently presented a variety of Indonesian cultural outfits. Each look told a story, showcasing the diversity and richness of our heritage while giving students a chance to express themselves.
Across campus, students and teachers came dressed in batik, creating a vibrant and unified atmosphere. The celebration continued with friendly competitions and activities, filling the day with energy, laughter, and shared experiences.
But beyond the festivities, Kartini Day reminded us of something deeper. It encouraged our students to appreciate the opportunities they have today and to continue building a future where everyone has the freedom to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams.
Through moments like these, we hope to carry forward Kartini’s spirit, not only by remembering her story but by living out the values she stood for in our everyday lives.
